IID company is created by Remy Tilburg and Robin Kroes in 2021. As they needed a space where they could fully embrace their creativity and have a laboratory. They designed a program for their fellow dancers to share this safe space with them. They worked from the name Intimate - Identity - Development. Through different methods and a individual approach they guided several dancers to find their own identity. Gave them the tools to believe in their own strengths and how to distinguish themselves. After 6 seasons and 3 summer courses. They slowly started to work from the name IID as choreographers for different projects.

It felt like a natural step to expand. Because they were working with amazing dancers and created more and more repertoire. They wanted to be a platform. A fluid platform where they could share their art more with the public. From this desire IID company was founded.

IID stands for I, Identify.
